Coloring Agent - Tris (4 Dimethylaminophenyl) Methane
LCV ( Leuco Crystal Violet ) is the useful coloring agent (dye) which is applied to the photosensitive-layer for confirmation of a developed circuit image obtained by UV rays. It is applied on Dry Film for images transferring. Dry Film is one kind of photosensitive film, it primary function is to gain images of electronic circuit boards, by transferring them onto copper sheets through exposure to the UV ray, then the circuit board is prepared for washing.
It is a dye used in the detection biological samples using spectrophotometric techniques and can be oxidized with acidified potassium iodate forming crystal violet dye at 590 nm.
It is used as a colouring reagent for detection of blood that is based on the blood-catalyzed reaction of hydrogen peroxide, whereby the colourless LCV is oxidized to the purple crystal violet.
